Or have we all lost our senses of humour these days?

PS:- Nick, I want MY badge back, OK!
I thought it was kind of funny to get him to wear it but pretty stupid to post it. You were drunk when you got him to do it and he was drunk when he did it, but were you sober when you put it on the Internet? You know what the pie fans are like and you know it will get a big reaction and ruffle feathers, it's not your life it will add crap to though I guess.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Here is the link to their pathetic snivelling whinging.
      <http://www.magpies.net/nick/bb/viewt...=13862&start=0>

Again, they deserve no sympathy. They held him with a gun to his head in one of the most disgusting abuses of the supposedly unibiased media I've seen, then got the ****s when he actually voiced his opinion about wanting to come home after all.

Collingwood supporters are a entity unto themselves, aren't they? When somebody stands up to their constant chestthumping, the squealing is unbearable.

But we should be gentle to them. They are somewhat emotionally brittle at the moment, the poor petals!

      JF

PS:- How do you know the plane from Melbourne has arrived in Sydney when the Pies are playing here?

The whining keeps going even after the engines have stopped.

Their bark is worse than their bite. Trust me I've never had a problem with Collingwood fans at the football, however I can't say the same about Hawthorn fans.

With Collingwood fans, they think they are better than everyone else and think because its Collingwood they have the right to do as the please

Mate, I'll repeat myself. I took the picture with another listee's camera. It was just a spur of the moment thing. I simply thought it was funny, as did everyone else at the time. (We were all very high on life at the time, it must be said!)

I did not intend to put it straight on BigFooty. I cannot be held responsible for that.

Are we supposed to apologise to such wankers or something? Never will I bow and scrape to a Collingwood supporter! Nor should Nick Davis!

Nick's a big boy. I'm sure he'll cope when he next heads down south when we play them.

As has been alluded to, he was ON FIRE on Thursday!

          JF

PS:- I was there at the Dome when he kicked that winning goal against them. I saw how he celebrated it with my very own eyes. I'm sure he has quite intense personal feelings about the whole issue, which is his right I guess.

The fact that it was safe for him to turn up to his club's B&F this year is a step in the right direction.

What are they going to do ...

Gum him to death ? Form a simpleton's chain to block the Hume Highway ? Hold a banner up at the football, and sleep on a bare mattress forever after ? Oh wait, something far worse ....don't tell me they're actually going to BOOOOOOOOOOOO him each time he touches the ball ? Please anything but that

Think about it, who are these people, and what are they capable of ? Not much really ...

They're nothing more than a congregation of brain dead morons, who can't think of anything more constructive to do than dedicate their pathetic existences to obsessing over a guy they didn't even know personally, who moved home a year ago .

They smell like a cocktail of nicotine, cheap grog ,dried urine, and hopeless desperation.

They're just the mindless scum of society, who make each sad day go a little faster by hoping someone's actually listening to the crap that constantly dribbles from their septic mouths, or bacteria infested computer screens.

They take great comfort in the words " side by side we stick together " only because they've come to realise, that the only other types of people they'll ever have any kind of relationship with, will be also be imbeciles . Birds of a feather ...

They don't frighten anyone other than themselves. Each time they look in the mirror they see their own underachievments, and insecurities. Saddest thing is, they know it won't get any better.

They're to be pitied more than anything else.

(This wasn't a rant at you Omni, its just about the old Collingwood scare tactics in general ) Check your PM box btw .

Not too courteous at all. It's not up to anyone to take it upon themselves to antagonise an already delicate personal situation.

When everyone sobbered up, surley someone would have to realise the drama that picture would cause. I'm sure there was no malice intended, and it was in all in fun, but now someone else has to live with this crap all over again, as a result of it .

Maybe it would've been an idea to tell him the picture was going to be posted before it was taken. But then again there wouldn't have been a picture if that would have happened.

It's out there now, and theres not much that can be done to recitfy it. Even with the posts by Lizz and JF over at Big Footy explaining what happened, they'll always believe what they want to believe.

I've had a lash at Collingwood in my previous post, and they can do whatever they please about it . However it's not me who has to run out on a football field . It's the poor bugger who went to an awards night to enjoy himself thinking he could let his guard down, did some meeting and greeting, woke up a few days later, and found himself in the middle of an old warzone all over again ... via a joke that never should have seen the light of day .

Sensible comments by Liz, it might get to the stage where players will be reluctant to be photographed with players, fearing the power of the net. I have seen him from time to time in Melbourne at the Spring Carnival, but I would suggest he only comes down here if he has to such is the mood of Pie fans towards him, and I mean even sane, educated ones, they feel they gave him a start and he is sneering at them. Funny how sour private jokes can turn if looked at out of context.

Ruda wakening - very very funny post and very true.

It should be taken as a bit of a laugh - I can understand people not wanting to post it.

C/wood people have known for a while that ND has an off-beat sense of humour - so what is the problem?

What do they expect him to do - light a candle at the Collingwood shrine every evening?

                    Storm in a tea-cup

I should add - many C/wood supporters have had this thing before - boasting all year - then disappointment/ realisation - given that there are some very very very funny Collingwood related emails going around atm - I would think you will find them a touch sensitive.

Oh this is all very silly..Surely it's just a bit of a laugh and everybody can see that...*Sigh*

With reactions like this from the supporters, no wonder poor Nick left Collingwood...

And Please, please... please..where can I get one of those badges? I've been wanting one for ages...

A heap of Collingwood supporters hated him already - what's a few more going to do? As much as I think that Nick (if he even knows about it) would prefer that the photo had not surfaced, what does it matter, really? If the Collingwood supporters boo him and give him @@@@ for the rest of his career, it'll just make beating them a whole lot sweeter.

No I think it's quite funny and it's always good to see the Collingwood ferals having a fit. The main thing that was a bit dodgy (from Nick's viewpoint) was posting it on BigFooty (I know you didn't do it) - here would have been fine. The other thing is that we are a bit precious about our players sometimes, and although we wouldn't react like the toothless smelly ones, at times we expect other people to wear things with grace we wouldn't.

When I saw it posted here I thought "this is just going to cause problems if there is a Collingwood fan lurking" and then when I saw it had been posted at bigfooty.com I just thought "stupid". It has, not suprisingly, now gone onto Nick's BB and sent the pies fans into a spin. Silly, silly stuff.
