    Interesting statement.

Feel free to wonder, seeing as you are a pretty gutless sniper as well guess I'd be pretty certain I wouldn't want to turn my back on you wouldn't I.

I make no apologies, have raised this issue of 'invention' ie lying about previous statements and sniping before, and it still goes on.

Just being consistent Robbi, nothing more nothing less. Raised some simple objections early in this thread. I would never invent a statement about another person, and if I misinterpreted would apologise. No matter how argumentitive I become it's generally to get people to be clear about what they are saying

Clarification is not the issue at all, particularly you guys that post at Bigfooty, have a very strong tendency for one-upmanship, back-biting, sniping and 'interpretation', ie guessing what someone has said which ends up being very untruthful statements.

I grabbed a simple example involving Zim Zum and Charlie, cause it's a very good example of what you guys do. Someone made a statement, then it becomes a game for whoever can come up with the best snipe or back bite, even though most of the statements are not related to actual statements on the board. By the time it gets to Charlie, he's having a crack at a someone over something they never said or possibly had even thought about.

I'm not opposed to banter, it's the great thing about boards. But I do not enjoy having statements I make being deliberately mis-interpreted, or claims of statements that I have made, that I clearly have not.

I gather that this is normal at bigfooty.

And who exactly is protesting too much?

No? Calling someone a liar (and a few other things) goes pretty close.
and if I misinterpreted would apologise.
Well, you've misinterpreted me twice now at least, yet you continue with the abuse.

There was no sniping or backbiting by me on the BF issue. I made a comment, someone misinterpreted what I meant, and I clarified.

You still haven't stated clearly which ones have been misinterpreted or are mistakenly attributed to you.

You really are clutching at straws here, but maybe you're trying to build yourself up because size is the problem...

Fundamentally you find it almost impossible to be honest. Which was the comment I made regarding Hall's marking. You did make a clearly inaccurate statement, but as per usual you 'rationalised', 'twisted' and 'equivocated'.

The Davis comment is just where it is clear. Someone with even a slight amount of moral fibre woulds just say "woops, simple mistake'. But you cannot help yourself but try and justify a previous mistake.

People can easily make mistakes, but you deliberately opted to continue with it. To me this makes you a liar.

I simply didn't present my point clearly enough. I have made the point on Hall's overhead marking quite a few times here
                (eg: http://redandwhiteonline.com/forum/s...&threadid=3488)
and simply left left out the clarification on that post. I clarified it next post when someone queried it (and I'd note in a fashion typical of you too!).

                Check out this thread:

These are some of the parts I quoted: "He ain't that talented - he's behind plenty of players on our list for talent"

"Can't see it - the more I think about it the sillier it sounds"
People can easily make mistakes, but you deliberately opted to continue with it. To me this makes you a liar.
I still don't know what mistake you think I made. I did make a mistake with my clarity on the BF post, which I clarified, however you were well into me before then.

now I know I don't have an avatar (just joking... well I don't have one... but I am just joking... anyways....) so I shouldn't comment on Jason, but I thought he didn't play too badly today.

Yes and quite clearly my statements, and the ones you claim I made bear very little resemblance.

Yet as per usual you use completely unrelated information to justify your statements, and wonder why I've formed such a low opinion of you.

                    You said this

As for Nick Davis, you did say he would only be a fair player. But you also said that he was not a reliable kick to team mates over any distance and he is less talented than plenty of players on our list. Of course, you seemed to be the only one who thought that.

Two untrue statements, but you do this kind of stuff all the time. You are so petty that you backed it up to justify it.

MAde some terrible mistakes with his possessions, not using the first option, handballed behind Crouch. If his job was to contain Pavlich through the midfield then he did ok as Brereton said, if not, then he 'just went'.

"Personally on that basis I would say - just a fair player - but others are entitled to their opinion"

"To me has always been and will always be just a fair player - mid range on anyone's list - reasonable, but not amazing talent."

"I think you guys do tend to overblow his ability - he's a straight kick but not incredibly reliable at kicking the footy to a teamate over distance."

Which statement I made is untrue?

                        Backed what up?!?

Well, if noone else is calling for Saddo to be dropped, I am. He was absolutely woeful again today. Had no impact, tried in different roles, and still our Jason is very ordinary.

Can someone please enlighten me on the last respectable performance that Saddo has delivered?

He lacks awareness, footy smarts, courage and ability. I really hope I'm wrong on him, but he's done nothing to change my opinion of him.

                          Just my opinion.

Yeah, rightio Reggi. Mate, if you don't like my posts, if you don't like NMW's, then perhaps you could use the ignore function? Fact is, Zim Zum posted, on Bigfooty, something that was somewhat silly. It's one thing to disagree with a post, but he/she simply sniped about it, rather than adding anything constructive. But you're the one you decides that I sniped, and you conveniently ingore anything which dilutes your grounds for a sook in this thread. I hadn't had a thing to do with this thread, but that didn't stop you from having a whinge... so if you want to talk about sniping, perhaps consider your own posts?

Reggi - you've lost control in this thread. The ironic thing is, I more or less agree with you about Saddo. Doesn't seem to matter though, because you're just looking for a fight.

Alright, this one has drifted so far off the topic it's not funny

yep, I know he made some mistakes today... but I still just didn't think he played all that badly for some reason

I am not too sure about him being dropped, seems a little early yet... who from the reserves is demanding a callup to take his place? I would have thought that from today it would be LRT that should be dropped before Saddington? And again, I didn't think LRT was -that- bad either...
