Do you mean that there's only one in 512 chances that it's coincidence?

ummm.. broadly speaking that the odds of a player (given that the chance of playing is equal to not playing) playing specifically in the losing matches only will be one in 512. Of course, my calculations have a mountain of assumptions that probably make it useless
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Nick was pretty good at the AM tonight. There was a bit of by play re his involvement with the Sharks - trying to teach them how to kick etc, but the feeling was that he his happy in Sydney and doesn't want to be anywhere else. Also byplay re his desire to play midfield, but Roosy said he hasn't got the aerobic capacity to do it yet, also gave the impression that they wont play him again until he is 100% fit. My worry is that Nick is too comfortable in his home environment and is not giving full commitment.Pay peanuts get monkeysComment

The last time Nick 'loosened up' and let somebody take a picture of him wearing THAT badge, they decided it would be funny to splash it all over the internet, causing embarrassment.
Is it any wonder he seems a bit stand-offish with SOME fans. As stated earlier, at a kid's clinic he it was no trouble whatsoever to be involved in anything.Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

Good point BBB...I'd forgotten about the badge and the fuss it caused... I don't know him, but he's always seemed to me to be a bit cocky, sure of himself and his talent, but I don't see that as a problem...quite the reverse. I do believe also he's probably frustrated at the moment as well...why wouldn't you want to be out there kicking goals? Looking forwardto his return (and Schneids and Schaubs)..."Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."Comment

I recently heared a story that he'd been sprung by the club stuffing himself with potato wedges, in the mistaken belief that they were healthy.Comment

Just like the Canterbury players turning up to court hearings is a direct reflection on the the people managing the team, attitudes like that shown by Nick Davis are indicative of the attitude to which supporters seem to still be held at the Swans.

The EGO has landed
I find his arrogance annoying, but that isn't such a bad trait in a footballer.
I haven't seen him disregard anyone or being rude to any body. Not like some other Swans players, who shall remain nameless.
I realise they had just finished a pretty hard game of football, but a little acknowledgement when someone congratulates you on a good game can't be too much to ask for... ah well.Comment
