Yeah I was one of those supporters. Makes my $100 seem even less significant. Oh well, my choice to take this job over here.

I couldn't give a damn what players did or didn't do at an aftermatch function. I couldn't care less who they hugged, who they shunned, or what they said or didn't say.

Actions out on the field speak louder than words spoken or not spoken at meet up after a game.

        Nit picking at its best.
hmmm I could swear there's another thread around here somewhere about player/coach obligations? Anyway. Not that I care what you think ruda, but I just posed a question and you gave me a straight answer. No bagging no slagging (of the player). I do thank you for your answer though.

It's a given that players and coaches have a certain obligation.

I'm not suggesting that they shouldn't give a damn about supporters in general, i'm saying that sometimes things aren't as cut and dried as some people think.

It's been mentioned already in this thread that many of the other players at the WC aftermatch were more than happy to get up and speak and mix with the crowd, so i can't see the big deal about one person choosing not to on that ONE occasion.

Nick's always filled his duty in that area before, just as he did last week after Hawthorn, and just as he's done with Swanning Around, kids clinics, family days etc.

It's kinda funny in a way because i don't recall too many supporters being too happy after the WC game, and yet Nick, one of the guys who actually participated in the game, and who had an ordinary one, and who was clearly injured, therefore probably having more paramount issues to deal with at the time - is expected to feel differently.
Sit down or i swear to God i'll have you shot.
