I cleverly removed Justin from the original quote. I honestly think Jason was starting to come good.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

This tosser, Deep Throat, sounds very much like Simon Madden, who I think had a gig on 3AK, which what was SEN previously known as.

I have heard him many times and he often repeats rumours heard only 30 minutes before on 3AW Rumour File. He just makes it up, like that tosser from the HS, Mark Robinson.

I sometimes could not understand the rationale going around here. Our team is short of talents and fairs and full of average hardworking workers yet we still want to trade anyway talent for foot soldiers. It is really ironical that while we are pressing the club to recruit more talented players, we are yet still advocating trading our own talents. The club is in no win situation to please us at all.
I think you've hit the nail right on the head . . . Saddington is an experienced quality defender who can pinch-hit in the ruck or on a wing, and who has now shown that he has the potential to be a quality forward.

That kind of utility is worth its weight in gold to any team. We would be mad to trade him unless we got real quality in return.

ideal trade bait given you have to offer up quality to get quality.

Saddo for Luke Penny/Trent Knobel?Lenny Hayes (pick one)? Preferably, I'd keep him.

Saddington worth his weight in gold. Interesting.

You could almost count the number of people who share this view on one hand.

Without going overboard, Saddo is a servicable player that would demand an ok player from another team. Saddo and a first round pick for Ottens would be ideal.

You've got to give a little to get a little. And there'll always be someone unhappy if it's their favourite player who goes. IMO, Saddo is someone who could be traded. I'll support him 100% if he stays, but I don't consider him an indispensable part of the team.

There is a vocal minority on this board who might agree with you about Saddo, but in the real world he's highly regarded, especially at the club itself.

But then, of course, I don't know how many fingers you've got on your hand?
