Sure he had a terrible game tonight but we all know what he can produce, and when he's on song, there are few players in the AFL that can match him. Many people here talk of getting that gun midfielder that can set the midfield alight, I believe Goodesy's the man. Just don't play him at CHB, its not his best position.
Goode's just isnt accountable enough, his best position is in the ruck IMO and Roos won't play him there so I believe we should trade him off for another team to worry about where to play him.
Hopefully I'm wrong and his injuries are to blame but he just hasn't done much all year even before his injury.

Goodes had a shocker season with injuries but he should at least be given a chance to prove himself next year. Remember he has 6 months to prepare for next season. Don't write him off just yet.
Roos needs to face that he is anything but a CHB, please play him forward or in the midfield anything. but once he has a big rest and gets his knees right he'll be back to brownlow form. It could just be a case of the brownlow curse?

Yeah i know but we need some new faces around the club, we tried to improve this year without and trading and it didn't work, if we want to bring quality players to the club we need to let some go.

Goodes is not a good defender, but as we have seen can be a dynamic ruck rover. When he fully recovers from his injuries he will be very useful for us again. Just don't ask him to be accountable!!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

He was only shown up because our midfield just couldnt get our hands on the ball. I would be worried if he wasn't playing accountable footy if he was playing in defence but he wasn't tonight. It was a gamble that paid off for the Saints to have Blake run off him because they had the ball most of the time.

Clubs usually trade well established players because either they're unhappy/unsettled or because of the salary cap and I don't think that really applies to us in this case. So I feel our first rounder is our best trade bait with a few fringe players available as a sweetener.
certainly not a young brownlow medalist who is one of our few proven matchwinners
i'm not sure that we should be trading that aggressively given that the experts opinion seems to be that the draft pool is relatively weak after the top 6 picks
And which team is going to trade us a proven centre half back for saddington when he has shown that he can't hold down the position himself??
