Just noticed your epitaph or whatever its called which has " 2004 WAFL Premiers = Subiaco Lions, WesternSwans only Premiership to date"
You must be soooo young!
I'm sure Subi won one late eighties, early nineties? Got beaten by West Perth in 1995 - I remember that fondly.

Mine was the same mate. Typical Sydney person, no idea of the mindset of the sports fanatic at all. I used to get around it by going out the day before.
Get your father to take her to lunch and then the footy together as a family.Or arrange stuff outside of Mother's Days.
I mean, let's face it. It is just a plastically created day thought up by Hallmark Cards and the retail industry so that they can generate greater revenue at a quiet time of the year.
But just try telling that to some mothers!

"Your [sic] not a Swans fan..." if you tell other people how you should support the team...
Amazing how many people think that there is only one way to support the team and their's is the right way...
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Originally posted by Destructive Those who know me, and those who have heard of me, know of my mozz when opposition players are lining up at my end and my side of the ground. If you don't, have a look at my sig. I did'nt get many chances to yell it out on sunday and when I did, this sad sack guy in the row in front of me says " oh no, not again!".
