Actually it @@@@s me when crowds call out "ball" as soon as a player touches another, b4 they actually tackle them.

Majority of people that go to the football are morons, I have found.

The majority of people that go to the football have never read the rules and therefore follow the crowds response like sheep.

The AFL usually sends out the new rules via the media outlets three or four weeks before the season starts, whereby it is amazing that the majority of supporters have clearly not read the NEW rules as they complain about the previous rule in place not correctly paid - which in fact is incorrect as there is a new rule...

I constantly ask bozo's around me if they have ever read the AFL rules, whereby the response is always in the negative...

The rules are on the AFL website BTW....

There are rules and there are interpretations.I would like to get a hold of that CD that the players received explaining the interpretations. It seemed to me there were two different interpretations of the holding the ball rule where a player dives on the ball or pulls it back in .For the first half I couldn't recall a free kick given for doing this.It was just a ball up.In the second half that all changed and players were pinged. left right and centre.
I scream ball either for an obvious holding the ball or because it was similar to a decision the opposition received even if ,in my opinion it wasn't holding the ball.I just want consistency.

So are you saying that all people attending an AFL game should read the rule book before they go and if they don't, they're bozo's who should shut up? Gee, that'll make the footy a lot of fun. I'll tell you what you can do with your rule book. Something about shoving it up a place where the sun don't shine.

I've put a proposal to the board that members have to do a rules test before their cards are posted. Can I count on your support cruiser?

If Scott's right and most footy supporters are morons, Sydney will hardly have any members. Scott and cressakel might be it. And they might be the only two allowed to say anything at the game.
