All games are winnable and all games are loseable. Look at the games we lost last year we shouldn't have:

    - Melbourne at TS
    - Essendon at MCG
    - Richmond at SCG
    - Geelong at KP
    - Kangaroos at SCG

And so very nearly Geelong and Hawthorn at SCG, and Collingwood at TS and Carlton at OO.

Or if we look at 2003:

    - Adelaide at SCG and AS
    - Hawthorn at MCG and SCG
    - Kangaroos at Manuka
    - Collingwood at TS

All we've done so far is beaten a crap side at home. We may have won by 10 goals, which was pleasing, but we hardly looked massively impressive. A top quality side would have beaten the insipid Hawks by 100 points on Sunday.

          congratulations :P

as for being serious... i think we should aim for 16 wins this year, would put us in serious contention for top 4

but i stand by my original comment in the sense that i dont visualise any loss, i know its very very very unlikely we will win every game, but i am not going to nominate games we will lose, just deal with them as they happen

(if we dont lose a game you should send me a postcard from mars! :P)

If we beat the Roos and an understrength Brisbane then I will jump on the chicken counting bandwagon. I won't be able to help myself. It will end in tears.

You wouldn't put the Essendon game in Melbourne down as a certaindy. I can't remember the last time we beat them down here. Anyone know?

                            I count 18 "winnables" too.

Sides that are a rabble and we should sink comfortably if we're to challenge for the flag are:

HAWKS (1 down and 1 to go)
TIGERS (need a miracle to get off the canvas this year)
PIES (their list is a mess and injuries are killing them)
CROWS (old guys are too old and young guys are too young)
LIONS (injury and suspension has to see us win the first one)
SAINTS (it's falling apart for them, their avenues to goal are tiny)

Round 6 or 7 should tell us whether we have a season like 2004 or a Year when we challenge for the Flag.
