Wow - trying to be smart worked that time!

Far too complex yet - just take it one step at a time. Learn to crawl before you can run!

Look, to be honest we accept that your efforts are blue collar and you have a bit of work to do to get to where you need to be, but at the end of the day at least you've had a red hot go.

For the person who brought this thread back to life for you amusement at my expense, I would like to remind you that if we do record 18 wins this year, then I for one will be very happy.....and not alone.

It starts with channeling another's spirit like this then before you know it, your head rotates through 360 degrees (but not in a Tadhg good way) and then there's the bright green projectile vomit.
Originally posted by barry Analysing the soft draw we have this year, I see absolutely no reason why we wont win 18 games during the season which would ensure a top 2 spot, likely 1st.
Well barry, we didn't do it during the H&A season, but we did end up winning 18 games this premiership season...
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
Originally posted by Go Swannies Pure coincidence but I was thinking this morning of starting a thread about how all sides are beatable this year. I'm not yet convinced that it will be by the Swans 2005 but the season is wide open.
Port and the Lions certainly look far from unbeatable. Injuries and age in one case, and attitude in the other. So it comes down to the pretenders. Everyone seems to have the Cats, Weagles, Ainst and maybe, Dees in that camp. No reason why we can't be there too. I think the current Swans lineup can do it - and I don't think Willo or Stewie will ever have a premiership if it isn't this year. But our structure is the best it could be. Great forward line and lots of height and talent in the back. It just comes down to two things. Can our midfield produce throughout the year (and last weekend that looked far from sure) and can Roos come up with a master plan that will carry us through (and that also remains unproven)?
Of course, injury can unravel all this. Imagine if Baz and Ball were injured this weekend. . . But this year it could happen. If so, we could become the next powerhouse of the AFL. I think everyone is expecting that will be the Aints but I think we have more heart if not more talent. And the Lions have shown what heart (and mongrel) can achieve.

I hope its a blood-less coup, and you squanter the Danish royal fortune on Virgin Galatic shares.
