Just wondering how my post makes me or implies that I am a "self obsessed supporter"??

When the Swans win I feel good about myself, when they lose I feel down...that's why I support ant follow a team.

Remember last year, when Hird kicked the winning goal in the last minute against West Coast and hugged the supporter on the fence? That has only been positive for football... there is an ad about it, and the image has been played over and over again, demonstrating the vital link between players and supporters.

Why do you follow the swans and football for that matter Mark? Do you get enjoyment from a game or is that being "self obsessed?"

The fact that you backed up a post that equated the quality of the Jolly trade with his hugging some supporters.

I repeat, he will prove to be a good trade if he plays good footy over a good period of time. Not because he approaches wannabes in the crowd and makes them feel important.

Maybe YOU should think before you post ?

I take it you DON'T include your own post in making that call.

You missed the point Mike was trying to make and that to me is no surprise.

No where in my post did I equate the quality of Jolly's trade with the 'hugging of supporters'.

I suggested that it is good for Jolly, the supporters and the game that players embrace and involve the supporters.

You didn't answer my previous question. Why do you follow footy Mark? DO you 'enjoy' it?

This is quite amusing considering your first piece of advice !

"The fact that you backed up a post that equated the quality of the Jolly trade with his hugging some supporters"

Was what i said not that you made the original call

Maybe read and think before you post, it helps

Maybe if I clarify things a little it might help this go-nowhere argument.

Personally, it makes no difference to me whether the players come over or not - I get no inflated sense of self-importance.

The point I was trying to make was the way Darren Jolly is embracing being in Sydney, embracing being part of the Sydney Football Club. Obviously if he doesn't produce on the field, we have a problem, but my point was that you can see how much he really wants to contribute and that can only be a good thing.

              I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Key point Mark, "The quality of the Jolly trade"! Where have I ranked the quality of Jolly's trade based on hugging supporters???

Do you enjoy footy and why? Why do you avoid questions?

I agree totally Mike. I don't often get involved in back and forth posts, but I feel strongly about defending your comment because I agreed with you and Mark miss interpreted what you said about Jolly "embracing the club".

Happy players are better players. Not than other players, but themselves when they are not happy.

Goodes, Hall, Kirk, Kennelly, etc are all evidence of the fact that hapiness brings better performances.

If we see evidence that Jolly is happier now that he is at Sydney, I have no doubt he will play better than ever before.
