Agree i guess. Our Percentage will take a battering this week

no point wasting time and money contesting the charge. We dont have a hope winning this game with or without Jolly. Better take the week and get him back for the following week without the drama.
This game is shaping up like the trip to AAMI against Port last year.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
A forfeit, excellent idea. Get everyone fresh for a game we might win (v Essendon).

I don't eat animals since discovering this ability. I used to. But one day the lamb I was eating came through to me and ever since then I haven't been able to eat meat.
LRT to ruck all game? That really is laughable. But then again, it could be funnier, and we ruck all night against WCE, with Doyle changing with LRT, against Cox, Gardiner and Seaby. Throw another tall, Hansen, Lynch, they will be too big, too strong, too good, especially with this crap brand of footy that we play.
Wouldn't it be ironic if Goodes returns to taking centre bounces, considering it was the corresponding game last year that resulted in his injury and supposedly ending his full-time rucking career?

Roos had already said that his rucking career was over even at that stage and only put him back in there in a desperate attempt to find Goodes some form. Lasted about 30 seconds!
Just heard on the SEN 11am news that Jolly has rejected the offer of a one match ban and will contest the charge.
Not overly clever IMHO, but I guess the club has decided that they need to try and get him on the field at Subi. My guess from this decision is that Ball should be right for the Essendon game, otherwise they wouldn't risk having no ruckman for 2 weeks.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.
Will Steven Doyle make a shock return?
I reckon we will have LRT rucking generally at centre clearances, but use Barry around 50 and inside and allow Goodes to go around the ground and inside defensive 50. Yeah it will be a loss to the side, our 3 top rucks out, but if we are serious about 2005 then we should be able to get by without. We will more than likely get thrashed in the ruck, but that just means our lads have to read the taps off Cox and co... Adaptability.
- Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!
