Great, it just keeps on coming. We don't even have Ball.Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.Comment

Graham Bond on 3aw said that Jolly's defence is that he he didn't contact Godfrey and to quote him "it appears the video backs him up".(I thought Godfrey grimaced but I could be wrong.)
Here's hoping.Comment

Bondy who knows his decisions well was very critical. He said there appeared to be no contact and Jolly argued he was merely getting himself prepared for a secondary rucking contest. Bondy thought he was unlucky and should consider an appeal.LIFE GOES ONComment

i am not confused.always believed the tribunal is unduly influenced by "big name" players,no matter who is on the tribunal results are always the same, the unknowns get shafted and the reputations get looked after.

Bondy said that after viewing countless replays the prosecution wanted to change the charge to contact with the lower leg. It was refused and he was rubbed out.
I think there may have been another charge that was thrown out to do with the lower leg also. Confused and dudded.
Hird made late and violent contact.
As far as the tribunal panel of ex players goes what we need to understand is that these people were put there because they were pillars of the game. Highly regarded fair players (supposedly) so they will always side with the fair players or darlings of the game, because they saw themselves as such. Their own cosy little club of 200+ games.
It will be interesting how other actions such as Hird's will be viewed as the season progresses.Comment

AFL website:
Swans flag Jolly appeal
No surprise there. How the AFL prosecution could consider changing the charge halfway through the hearing baffles me."Unbelievable!" -- Nick Davis leaves his mark on the 2005 semi finalComment
