Can't see Eade repeating history and getting them to the GF but good luck to them if they do - I hope it's us playing them

If the Dogs make a Grand Final, good luck to them. They've only played in about 2 or 3 Grand Finals for 1 flag. If it's a Dogs vs Swans Grand Final, there'll be a drought broken no matter who wins.

So do we play him because we can?? Does he warrant selection without an obvious opponent??

I'd rather Vogels in the forward line.
              Johnson - CBolton
              Giansiracusa - Dempster
              Morgan - Schuable
              Murphy - Barry

              Hmm.
Much better way of approaching this is via the matchups. Gotta play the horses for courses in their forward line however see if we can create some mismatches in our forward line.

They have some quality deliverers by foot so our approach must be to not allow them any time. Blokes like Gilbee, Boyd, Gian, Cross, Hargrave (more by hand though), McMahon & Power. Add to that the perennials of Johnson, West, Smith, and the youth of Cooney & Morris, plus the older heads of Hahn, Grant.

They will be a tough unit to crack. They're confident, keen, fit and raring to go. Eade will be VERY keen to make an impact, and it looks like the players are really playing for their coach - coming back after the spray at 1/2 time last week was impressive.
Can we make sure that their young blokes are fully accountable?
Can we hunt in pack and tackle hard to take the steam out of their smaller blokes? Can we match them in four quarter running? Would Spriggs be selected to counter the pace and hard running (if not the delivery skills)? Where can we point to winners of contests rather than 50/50 contests?

Anyhoo, I think those are bigger queries atm rather than Vogels, LRT and < >.

Guess we will see how good Cooney is. He is bound to be picked up by Kirk.

                    No Ball??
Ah well... i reckon Mathews will take Cooney and Kirk on Cross or West with Crouch on the other. I dont think Cross will be too used to being tagged, so probably Crouch on him... have to wait n see!
                    - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

I didn't notice that, obviously is not 100%.

I reckon Williams mite be cut from the squad tomorrow, or a late exclusion.

If I were betting on it, I reckon they'll drop Nicks, Schneider and McVeigh from the interchange. I think they might take a chance on Williams. I'm reseving my judgement and trusting the 'experts' (and they're not on RWO).

You seriously could not have Mathews on Cooney. He is too slow and unaccountable.

You need someone to smother him. Of those players you mentioned Cooney is by far the quickest breaker of them, so you need to cut him right out.

                            The experts aye.

The same experts who presided over the Nick Davis debacle. Give RWOers anytime.

That's why I put experts in ' ' I wont deny that wasnt a bad decision.

Crouch and Mathews in the Centre!? I hope the forwards aren't actually going to expect the ball kicked to them.

Yike, look at the Centre and Half lines plus the on-ballers. Who the hell is going to get the ball to a forward? Maybe Ablett and J. Bolton...

(Obviously) its going to be another low scorer. I am glad to see Roos doesn't want to "play to win" against the weak dogs.
