I was so disappointed in Bevans game.He had three clangers which were all at critical times in the match. Two handballs straight to the Doggies and getting run down in front of goal and a goal was scored.
I saw in the paper that Moore had 41 minutes of game time.Last week it was 50 mins.Maybe he needs to go back to the two's to keep fit or maybe it is all part of Roosys long term plan.Who knows?

Did anyone else get the feeling that the Bulldogs' fade in the 3rd and then attempt at resurrection in the 4th quarter was reminiscent of how the swans used to play under Eade? Damn we used to be bad in the 3rd quarter week in, week out.

Don't know if it has been mentioned earlier, but was the ground wet at all??

Just noticed how many times players slipped over, and increased amount of fumbles from a number of players, not singling him out but, Kennelly had a few noticeable fumbles.

Was it wet, or was there butter on the ball and ground???

Bevan was very disappointing - even worse than the clangers was his use of the ball. In the last qr should've hit BBB on the chest but cleared him by 5 m at a crucial time.

Luv the boy's endeavour but something needs to be done about his delivery & skills.

...I can only assume that Schauble is injured. Badly. Perhaps dead.
Probably already noted later in thread (I'm still working my way thru) but Schauble played in the reserves. He didnt look dead to me.

That was also discussed on "Seriously AFL". B2 is the strongest player at the club.

I think the picture at the top of this report is of the contest where Magic had the free paid against him. Looks awfully like Murphy is trying to restrict Mick from getting to the ball without really contesting it himself.
That was a disgraceful decision & at a time when it really could've cost us the game.

Maybe it's just me but I thought the umpiring was terrible again yesterday. Supposedly we had 16 frees but I'm boggered if I can remember half of those.

MOL was clearly seen holding onto the jumper of Murphy, no doubt about it being a free kick against.

The umpiring was fairly good IMO, and consistent. Alot of our frees came in the central part of the ground IIRC.

Maybe we should have a sticky saying "Umpiring was terrible, we were screwed!" That would save a few dozen of the same posts each week...

I'm pretty sure MOL was on Murphy's left, not right, in the free kick incident.

While everyone talks about Barry and Kennelly's run outta the back line, Bolton does a lot of running out of the back line and reads the play very well.
At the AM I made the comment that B2 has been our best drafting decision of the last few years. Vogels may change that view but more time is needed for assessment.

Wasn't at all wet but was probably still soft from the rain earlier in the week. The SCG has excellent drainage.

I was about 20 m from the MOL incident & I saw the replay - I certainly wasnt the only one who felt there was no holding so I'd have to take issue with your "clearly" there.

I can't recall a single free kick 4 Syd inside 50 except the one to MOL after he'd already marked it. Still prepared to accept other than these "minor" issues I can prob be as one-eyed about umpiring as the next supporter.

MOL was definitely pulling Murphy's jumper. No doubt about it. Whether Murphy was also holding I cannot say.
