Ah, but that's the beauty of league-based fantasy football. You may think it's guess work, but it is possible to make educated guesses if you spend the time educating yourself by looking at the matchups and histories. Or you could throw a pin at a dartboard and do better The hardcore fanatics have lots of finely tuned choices to occupy them every week, but the casual player can only spend two minutes per week on it if they so choose, and still have every chance of winning.

Much better than that Dream Team rubbish where the only choices you make are how to cover this week's 2-5 injured/suspended/dropped players...

I actually put a fair bit of thought into how to fill my team this week. But like normal tipping, it's still a matter of luck!

Stupid bloody game - wouldn't let me pick Goodwin as it said he was still injured and he is dominating!!

Jude Bolton - 54 points! I'm toast. Well done Liz. Aker not having a 2nd half really cost me, as did the withdrawal of Fossie. The game needs an emergency system and Bloods' bugs ^^ ironing out. And 54 points for Jude. I thought he had a good match, but 54 points! I mean was he 11 times better than O'Keefe?

I think the scoring of tackles needs to be reviewed - too many points for tackles, and that's where Bolton scored big today.

            I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

My matchup could go down to the wire. At halftime I'm trailing by 19 points with Hasleby and Bruce active while United's defence (Freo) is the only active 'player' and only go down. However the rain may mean that he could score quite highly.

Yeah, I might amend that for next year.

No, there is no rule saying you can't put in a player whose last news story said he was injured. You must have not specified the right type of player to go out.

Was he named as of Friday night when the round started? If you left him out at the start of the round, that would be it, and most comps lock your team selection once the first game of the round begins.

I didn't want you to see it, I don't want kids to have their dreams crushed by finding out their heroes are mortal. Like the cheersquad putting the banner up early and it tearing.
