I can confirm Spoiler, that he will be coaching Jets for 08,the offer of a drink card at RG McGees and one of those Macca's stickers you put on your windscreen for drive thru service, and of course the fresh country air was too tempting to pass up. A press release will be out as soon as we get a computer and power at Bensons Lane. -
I also failed to mention a free round of golf a wk with buggy at Sydney's greatest course,be proud Jets sponsor Riverside Oaks. Garns says he looks forward to fighting the resident course kangaroos for stray golf balls. [please note these comments are with tongue firmly lodged in cheek.]Even Luffy had a good long thought about this offer a few years back didnt ya Troy?Comment

Nicksy was awesome as a coach and a great bloke too (for a desert head), Uni would love to hang on to him but he is planning on moving away from Sydney at this stage and won't be available next year.
Looking forward to the announcement of our new coach... 'I Heart's' getting excited!Comment

Seems a silly move for Garner to go from the SW to NW. I think East Coast will now start to struggle to attract inter-state players; its a long trip to Rouse Hill on the M2 and Windsor Rd in peak hour. Not sure how many recruits will want that; they usually want to be close to town. They might lose a few now. Campbelltown seem to have always struggled with this, so I think East Coast might too. Basically East Coast will need to develope what they have with fewer recruits to come. Same situation as Campbelltown when Garner first went there.
Any thoughts???Comment
