Official Round 18 Thread - Fixtures, Tips, Game Talk

We've made it to the final round before the finals. For five Premier Division teams, and plenty of teams through the other divisions, it's the last game for 2010. They will be looking to go out on a positive note - and as we saw in the final round last year when there were plenty of upsets, anything is possible.
For many players, it will be their last appearance - we've already got a thread for UNSW-ES great Brad Abbott, and there'll be others hanging up the boots after this game. And it will be a sentimental occasion for Pennant Hills, as they play on Ern Holmes Oval for the last time.

LOL. I've got no idea what happened to the numbers down there last week, but one would hope that was a one-off.
But the Blacktown games are scheduled around a TAC Cup game, and I can't see the AFL talent scouts etc there being impressed by forfeits in our league. If Campbelltown advise the league today or tomorrow that they won't be able to field a Third Division team this week, I'd be seriously tempted to bring the Premier Division game forward to 3:45 rather than having a 2-hour gap in the program.

Excellent, that's a relief. There must have been some one-off factor down there last weekend.
And Moorebank Sports will get a chance to play at Blacktown, a good preparation for the finals.

Wonder what the price of a pie will be. And the entry fee.
