You probably should be asking how much these players are paying Wests to let them have a legitimate game with a sensible club !

I tend to agree with you - they were a better team than their ladder position indicated last year, and troubled most of of the top teams.
Yes, Norris, the Bats seem to be cornering the market in incoming recruits - more added to the list in the past few days.
      Scarey.
How wierd would it be for us old-school SFL fans to see Manly and Bats playing off in a GF !

The other club active in the trade market is Pekay's Nor-West Jets. Hardly any recruits a year ago but, since he announced his upcoming nuptials, people will go to any lengths to position themselves for an invitation to the BIG DAY.
I can see the package deals being put together even as we speak.....come play for us, bring a shovel to help renovate the clubrooms and you get an invitation for two to the wedding and all-you-can-eat feed after.

It will be held at the clubhouse as our major social function, so you know it makes sense.

          A lighter moment in AFL

You may have seen this - I have watched it several times and am still cracking up.

Port Adelaide players getting hypnotised at training. Players get hypnotised - portadelaidefc.com.au

I could think of a few clubs that could use hypnosis to help give some of the members a kick up the backside.

The upstairs sheds are much more luxurious.

The guest list for Pekay's upcoming nuptials seems to have grown considerably - enough for NorWest to field a magoos team.

Id imagine they'll fill a recent void - wont be surprised to see a few more changes in a few divisions before the seasons start.

Plenty of ins, minimal outs (in fact, only two from last year) so we are shaping up OK so far.

Balmain U19 Div 2 are out as are Southern Power Div 5.

NW Jets Div 5 in to replace Southern Power. Give me a holler if you get short in the magoos PK!

                            This is how it worked:-
                            1. bugger all players at Norwest - Army has cleared out, no juniors, guys leaving to play at other clubs
                            2. Pekay puts it out that if you sign up to play then you get invited to the wedding/pigout.
                            3. stampede
                            4. Norwest lodges to play a magoos team.

                            Go figure......................

If those souped-up Sports Scientist types from Sydney Uni NEAFL want to come and check out your club's methods, then you'd better hide the evidence.
I hear that the cows graze on your footy field during the off-season and then, when a big footy club banquet is planned then.......
....oh well......never mind the gorey details.
