Hi Everyone - what about some real news / discussion about 2016.
    My questions are
    * Will UTS be the big improver
    * How many are Baulko and Penno losing
    * Will UNSW be a rabble again
    * Will Balmains, excellent coach appointment, transpose to a better onfield club
    * What will Magic be like in Div 1 - surely they cant win it again
    * Are Camden recruiting
    * Will Woolondiilly follow Gosford and like it in the lower grades but fall over as they go up
    * And what about the Penrith... so much potential, how will they go in Div 2.

Just a few questions...... what about some updates around the traps?

Happy to provide some feedback but can you be more specific when you say "better onfield club"?

Hugh Priest, Div 1 Snow medalist is the senior coach.

Penno have lost Bilby haven't they? Isn't Stubbs going to SA or somewhere?

UTS will be around that 6th place like they always seem to be. UNSW will be @@@@. Be interesting how they go in div 2, could be in trouble of another bottom place they were that bad.

Balmain arent much without Jarjoura and Bolt as we saw with the near 100 point loss to saints. Might drop a bit this year unless they recruit.

            Magic in div 1. Lol.

Is there somewhere where a list of nominated teams by Division can be found?

Not yet. Most clubs have pre-season training starting during November, and many will be having a look at their early training numbers before making a call on whether to nominate more or fewer teams for next year.

And, this is different to when St George ressies were promoted to Div 1 how? I'd think more LOL's would be had with a reserves team going to Div 1 than a Senior grade team.

You need to lay the Dragons pom-poms down sometimes cobber.

Did Sydney Uni not win Div 2 last year then back it up and win Div 1?

I think Blacktown will be more then competitive in Div 1.

                      * Will UTS be the big improver - No
                      * How many are Baulko and Penno losing - Already a few rumoured outs, might make for a close comp.
                      * Will UNSW be a rabble again - Will struggle again
                      * Will Balmains, excellent coach appointment, transpose to a better onfield club - You would think so
                      * What will Magic be like in Div 1 - surely they cant win it again - Probably find it hard to win it but will be around the 5
                      * Are Camden recruiting - Already got Matt Edwins, will surely have a couple more
                      * Will Woolondiilly follow Gosford and like it in the lower grades but fall over as they go up - Probably, not the youngest group either
                      * And what about the Penrith... so much potential, how will they go in Div 2. - Will be around the same as this year

Just a few questions...... what about some updates around the traps?

Not Sydney footy related, but how about the bloke from Singleton Roosters who won the Seniors and Ressies B & F, and then backed it up with the Div 2 B & F? Off to Bunnings for a new shelf in the man cave I reckon.

If you look at the div 2 side back then compared to the div 1 side now there would only be 5 or 6 players in both. We had a ton of good juniors come through into first grade (5 nominated for rising star, one winning it) which pushed a lot of senior guys back into div 1. There's no contest between our old div 2 side to our div 1 side now.

Sydney Uni did win it, but they did come from 5th. Sure they turned up for finals, but after playing most teams throughout the year I'd say they were the 5th best side.

Weren't people on here last year talking up Manlys u19s going from div 2 to div 1? Or penrith going to smash it in div 2?

                          Wait and see I guess.

I always wonder why St George, with their Premier Division Status, field only two senior teams and a 19's. Surely they must get a bundle of players approaching them to join, but appears they only want the best. At the other end, we have Penno who are looking to put in an eighth team ! That's certainly growing football.
