You must be getting your info the same place you get your recruits?
Care to share the other side then?

Yeh, who have we got? Lost West to SA, Mercer back home to WA. Anu is still around this year as is Decs.

Ive heard Camden lost 2 or 3 gws academy 19s to saints and reading between the lines here pretty poor form by not necessarily you Saviour but deffintely your source if factual.

Might be worth reporting it up the line Advocate pretty unprofessional IMO if indeed true.

As if this hasn't been happening since Jesus was around. And wouldn't it be better for their development to have exposure to Premier Division footy? Per'aps it was suggested by their Academy coaches to pursue the higher level footy?

I can only think of 1 who played a handful of games. Who else is there?

Why poor form? I had nothing to do with the sacking of the coach. Nor has anyone been able to clear up the "other side to the story".

Not to sure about the "sacking" talk. My understanding (and the info on Camden's facebook page) is Chris resigned.

Totally agree that the Giants academy kids should play at the highest level possible, but you would think that they would try and keep them in the Giants zone and not direct them to clubs in the Swans zone.

Makes it hard for teams to develop their 19's if the better kids are being directed to the clubs with strong 19's already.

Yep. And have you heard the one about the Sydney Club official who turned away someone at pre-season saying " I really think it is in the interests of the Code in NSW and generally that you return to you previous Club as they nursed you after your mother's milk dried up and you owe them your patronage for life now - we don't care what your reasons are, how well you play or what mates play here we don't need good footballers here who want to join us as we don't like transferees!"

I had to read that a few times to get it straight.

Sorry. Put another way whining and playing politics over players transferring is generally BS. Gain some lose some every year.

We've had our share move to greener pastures. Sometimes it was artificial grass when they got there!

Saviour the players in question ive been told left with the clubs blessing on open transparent communication from both sides. Anyone who knows the Camden Exec knows they would be across that.

The issue seems to be with your original post and your source. Thats what is poor form in my opinion.

Being in the Cats Inner Circle, I thought Giants may be able to expand on it.

Call-out to the well informed members of this forum:

Are any Prem sides likely to be still looking for players?

Where's the best place to head if you're a small-medium midfielder with 4 weeks to go till round one?

CKunde - IMO - all clubs would welcome a new player. I would go to the closest club to where you live. It is where your team mates will live and greatly improve the social part playing footy.
I am assuming you have moved to Sydney and the last thing you will want to do is drive across town to a recommended club - choose one close to home.

Very similar advice to what I gave my brother!

He's just hoping to find a club that's looking for players still. He lives on campus in Campbelltown, so proximity is sadly not a factor that's convincing him.
