Depends on the reason for a game being abandoned, and I haven't heard anything. If it was a player getting injured and needing an ambulance that took an eternity to arrive, not much any club can do about that.

Bit of drama out at Blacktown on the weekend?
Western Magic is a community club that is welcoming and inclusive.
We are shocked and appalled at a number of incidents of cowardly behaviour towards our family.
Western Magic will not tolerate abusive, derogatory or offensive language or behaviours of any kind and encourage everyone to call out this unacceptable cowardly behaviour.
It is the responsibility of every person in the club to enforce these standards and call out breaches of our community standards.Comment

It's not the first time a Premier Division game has been called off because an ambulance took an eternity to arrive. Can't blame Southern Power for that.

I know of a game where a novel way was found to continue the game when there was a significant delay due to waiting for an ambulance.
Macquarie Uni were playing Penrith at Bensons Lane years ago. A MU player was seriously injured just before half-time. The ambulance was taking time, so they played the second half on Bensons Lane #2.Comment

Platinum Ressies looks like a joke so I cannot say I am surprised with dissolving that competition, though I understand the benefit for smaller clubs to have 2 mens grades play together every weekend for resourcing their volunteers/trainers.
Is it more likely we see a team elevated from Platinum to Premier Division or a team removed from Premier Division to rid the bye from the prems schedule?Last edited by mrns; 27 June 2023, 04:19 PM.Comment

In Womens Prems, I would guess that unless Southern Power are getting an influx of gun players, they'll go down to Div 1. Getting lapped every week isn't much fun. The question there is whether St George goes up.

If anyone was to go up, South-West Sydney would have to be first in line, and they've already got a team in the Under 19s Div 1; but would they want to?

I can't see anyone in Mens Prems being relegated. If anyone was to go up, South-West Sydney would have to be first in line, and they've already got a team in the Under 19s Div 1; but would they want to?

South West has spent the $ but failed to beat Camden who continue to look strong across all men’s grades they play in.
SW ressies would not stack up to prems ressies grade.Comment
