I know they are just kids, I know its just a practice game, but do you reckon they could just hit a target once in a while!

Yeah you'd think that Anni but I am near Highpoint and haven't had much more than a drop - 26mm in the city!
Some of the delivery has been disappointing, by many of the players. Seems that many of them, particularly the younger ones, are trying to be too careful and guiding the ball rather than kicking through it.Originally posted by elroy67

- Going pretty much to script, the kids just can't match it physically with the experienced Kangas.
- Doyle looks very average at the moment, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt since he's just coming back from a long term injury
- Laidlaw has been alright, and I like the look of Jack.Comment

It must have reached Highpoint by now. http://mirror.bom.gov.au/products/IDR023.loop.shtml Too bad for my mate having his 40th birthday outside tonight, and to top it off he is a Kangaroos supporter UGH!Originally posted by NMWBloods

Laidlaw will play AFL footy. Brabazon looks pretty good too - he's the most AFL-ready of the three 2005 draftees, although that won't help him get a look-in this year. Thornton has been quiet.
For the first time I'm starting to understand the hype about Moore. Grundy has done a few good things. Roberts-Thomson is the same - he can mark the ball but doesn't really know what to do with it. Doyle is slow, but Chambers has barely featured so it's hard to pick which one will play in round one. Malceski hasn't had a lot of the footy. Would like to see Richards on a wing in the second half. Dempster looks like he'll be hard to leave out of the round one team, and I've liked the look of Vogels in defence. We hate Anthony Rocca
We hate Shannon Grant too
We hate scumbag Gaspar

Yeah we're getting a bit now - but not more than 5mm I'd say. Your mates 40th should have been a lunch - would have been perfect.Originally posted by anniswan

These blokes need to show more in this game: Spriggs, Malceski, Doyle and LRT has been beaten a bit too easily.....Then again we were looking this bad at this time last year....Comment

He's been the best of the rookies, but he's so small! Garrubba didn't stun me with his skills, and none of Currie, Prior, Barlow or Rowe have had much of the ball yet.Originally posted by ugg

If we actually cared about winning this game I would move Vogels to CHF.Originally posted by ScottH
Desperately need a forward who can mark. That is the biggest downfall of the game at the moment.
Jack can play a bit - small but tenacious.Comment
