minimum 2026 $ for Hamling
we need depth
im ok with that
equally we need more than his skill sets down back
last news I saw prior to Hamling announcement
any further news re our list?
........
SYDNEY has delisted four players, including versatile tall Robbie Fox and Indhi Kirk, the son of club legend, Brett Kirk.
Fox, Kirk, Caleb Mitchell and Ben Paton have all been delisted by the Swans after a disappointing season in which they finished 10th.

Interesting Hamling has been offered 1 year contract, whilst Rampe, Lloyd & Ladhams remain unsigned. Agree with Auntie, Hamling kept for KPD depth only, but should not be in our best 23. He was ok late in the season down back. I'm hoping Andrews and Snell push their cases ahead of him.
Ladhams is most likely surveying his opportunities elsewhere, as i understand he has a contract extension in front of him? Same as Buller, looking for guaranteed senior opportunities over contract security. My understanding is Buller's 1 year contract offer was extended to 2 before deciding to request a trade to the Pies on the same length.
I'm hoping we retain Ladhams, but if he also seeks a trade elsewhere, it should accelerate Green's opportunities, this being his 3td year, and we may well search for another development ruck via the Rookie draft.
Not sure whether we've offered Rampe & Lloyd contract extension? Rsmpe imo, showed he is still in our best 23 unless he can be seriously challenged. Lloyd showed some new lease of life in the forward line late in the season, but whether that is enough to stave off competition with the likes of Dattoli remains to be seen.
Seems odd if either Rampe or Lloyd have played their last game in Red and White, that no farewell game was organised. Unless it is not clear and possible of lap of honour organised in R0.
Promising we're showing interest in Hawthorn's Jai Serong who is out of contract. Hope we do the same with Adelaide's Jordan Butts, who is gettable despite having year remaining on his contract.

So, I usually dismiss a lot of trade chatter as nonsense, but something got my attention this weekend. Brian Taylor mentioned briefly on radio the prospect of Rowie heading to the Gold Coast. Given his family ties, it had me curious.
Could it be part of the merry go round needed to get Curnow?Comment

Would be sad to see Rowy go, but I can understand why we might be thinking about it too, especially if we got a decent return for him."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment
