Lizard could have played one of the all time great halves. Instead … it’s emblematic of our game right now.

Our skills are awful. Dropping simple marks, constantly handballing to players under pressure, missing easy shots at goal. What exactly have we been practicing at training, as it doesn't seem to be anything resembling football skills. Absolutely frustrating to watch.
And the sooner this fallacy of trying to turn McCartin into a forward ends the better. He is awful in a contest, and not even getting to the point of being exposed by his bog average set shot kicking."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

While there is absolutely no excuse for missing 3 from pretty much the same spot, at least Blakey is taking the game on and doing something different. McLean's misses are a lot less excusable for mine - he seems to either be 'on' or 'not' week to week. He is our only bloke up forward that can take a decent contested mark though, so we are in a major bind up forward."You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."👍 1Comment

Poor skills, not just kicking to opponents but our handballs have been shocking. Ollie has had 9 handballs, one effective. Refuses to kick. Roberts is darn awful. 13 possessions, one effective. He was the same last week. Panics and doesn't have up ground vision. Cory is the same. Kicks to the opposition. I have no idea where he is looking. Again, I think we look small compared the strong bodied Port. On McCartin; he plays from behind. He won't kick a bag so why play him there. Hambling is more mobile.Comment

Any gear apart fro neutral will do- can we see a bit more teamwork and not by putting each other under pressure? Port seem to have all the time in the world to find a pass to a team mate, whereas we fumble and make the wrong decisions. Please wake up Swans!Comment
