Interesting on FOX League teams there was surprise expressed at Mathew's dropping but Schwass thought that Davis was lucky to be retained after his poor game against the Pies.

He wasn't given much game time was he?
Or is that just me thinking about the more recent games where he hasn't been put on much at all..

Schwatta was calling for Crouchy's head on the weekend as well.
Can't be greedy but it's a shame no-one will be debuting this week
"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

Aint it obvious. Bevo.
In Paul Bevan = non youth development program.
Fair dinkum, the selection committee hasn't got any guts at all.
Out one dud, in one dud. They are so similar it isn't funny.
Why in the hell didn't they bring in a young footballer who has at least a skerick of a chance of creating something. Someone who can kick the pill more than 30 metres with a howling gale behind them.
Geez I am getting more peed off every week at the lack of imagination.

One might think that after you repeatedly declared Schneider to be a soft and complete dud, only to retract your conclusion not so long ago, you might hold off for a while and actually watch to see how Bevan has developed before completely writing him off.

I think you're correct- do any of our print Hun reading friends in Melbourne have the minutes that Nick played last week?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
I'm happy with those changes. ccording to Ros o the Swans site it in't just for a week...
Swans coach Paul Roos said that Chambers, Mathews and Richards would benefit from a stint in the seconds.
"We just had to make rational changes rather than throw everyone out. I am excited about the three blokes that are coming in," he said.
"Benny is fine, he just knows he needs some training and game time to be able to give himself a chance to compete the way he wants to, so he will play in the reserves.
"For Ted and Paul, it is get back, play some really good footy and get some continuity of game time."
Funny thing is I thought Torture had just played his best game for the Swans so far on Saturday night, not that that is saying much.
