Could he have won a brownlow anyway? Yes.

    At the swans? No.

Would the colonel have won a B & F? No...

Goodes should have been playing in the midfield full time in a Judd like capacity since 2003. He was 'lost' for a few seasons because Roos couldn't figure out where to play him.

C'mon Hammo.... Did you read the previous sentence in that same article???

..he's the sort of player you can never really put in a pigeonhole.
I do however appreciate how patient you've been waiting to use that article!! lol...

He won the Brownlow and tore up the competition playing in the ruck in 2003.

Blind Freddy could have seen he'd be an equally destructive ruck rover, rather than a CHB or forward.

Maybe we can get Stevie Wonder in to be a guest coach?

Might solve a few obvious issues that have been hanging around for a while.

Screwed firmly on. Goodes playing like a bloke with no self belief (and no left arm for most of the match). Some are saying that he is a primdona, big head etc. For me he looks lost. Unsure of his role, unsure of what is expected, unsure how to put his stamp on a game. If anything he needs inflating at the moment, not deflating. Let's hope for a press piece this week along the same lines as some of Davo's press this week.I would love to hear Roos come out and say that Goodes is brilliant, an enigma, and that he has free rien next week (if he plays) to go and and do his thing and play completely free and unaccountable football. That is how we will see the best of Adam again.

Well if Roos takes credit for Goodes' Brownlow, then he has to take credit for his poor form as well...

So, given Goodes' poor start to the season, does this mean that he has become selfish, ill-disciplined, and not inclined to follow instructions?

Though I've been disappointed with some of our performances so far, I'd prefer to follow the Swans than the unbeaten but deeply flawed Eagles. I like to have respect for the players in the team I support and, with a few exceptions, I do respect the Swans' players, coaches and management.

On the other hand, I'll like them a lot more when they start putting together a long, consecutive string of wins.

                                I'd prefer to be 6-0 than 3-3.
