    But we do know the truth, without the inestimatable investigative skills of Tugwell and co.

    It is no secret that he has a slight tear to his medial ligament. The Swans didn't try to hide that, nor the fact that he wouldn't be at 100% for a while.

    And you only have to watch him over the last two weeks to realise that he is playing a slightly modified game to what we're used to. It wasn't so obvious against the Lions because there was some space for him to lead into within the 50m arc, but he still didn't venture far outside that zone, unlike his normal game.

    I guess the question most of us non-medics would like to understand is whether the ligament will mend itself regardless of whether he continues to play, or are we going to see a "modified Hall" pretty much all season if he doesn't take some time off to rest it?

Perhaps there needs to be more talk in and around the forward line (not that there is the same amount of time as around a stoppage) or better communication from the runners?
