If he'd said that about the 80's it would be difficulty to argue but by the late 90's most Swans supporters in Sydney understood the game. In fact, many of us grew up in Aussie rules states. That tired old 'clapping points' insult is bollocks and by using it again, Hinds demonstrates what an idiot he is. Please SMH, send him back to Melbourne and his tragic Collingwood.

I regards to cruisers comments, I received an email this week from a woman (non RWO member) venting her disgust at the umpiring, and suggesting the same thing, that Sydney fans boycott games until the umpiring/rules is sorted out. Maybe you guys are on to something.

Can you, with a straight face, tell me that the Bomber fans would have given a respectful silence to say, Nathan Buckley, after after your team lost by a point after being subjected to some very dodgy umpiring. In the cold light of day it wasn't a great reaction but in the heat of the moment it was an understandable one.
