At least they minimised the percentage damage but lets face it, the Swans won't challenge in the finals this year so % doesn't matter.

I'll wait with anticipation for the after game report from Coach Roos - ""Benny played well for us again......."
I think you are wrong about finals. however, I don't think we'll get there at this rate.

You will all have seen if you are still watching that theu just shoed that BM/GA moment - I commented at the time that BM has a turn on him like the Titanic. Completely hopeless.
Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

Wow - those 'massive, axe weilding' changes made such a major difference today. Roos is just blind if he cant see that McVeigh, J Bolton, Buchanan and Ablett need a spell in the 2s.

In regards to Eski - hes great going forward but as a defensive player he seems to get caught out a little bit, especially when his player is on the lead.

Terrible, terrible skills - not hitting targets!

O'Keefe - 5 frees against is nothing short of disgusting

We had more forward 50 entries and the same number of disposals. Just goes to show just how much better they used the ball today.
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

I thought EXACTLY the same thing when it happened. If ever a situation called for staying tight, that was it. Pathetic.

i thought bevan did well ... mcveigh and matthews were woeful ... goodes, kirk and malceski were the best of the rest ... all the youngsters (vogels, schmidt, laidlaw) impressed me today - bring in some more youngsters who have the enthusiasm from the opening bounce.

mathews OUT crouch in if he is fit otherwise bring back scneids he wasnt so bad to warrant being dropped. LRT has to come back. Laidlaw did enough to keep his place and Vogels when on field looked ok.
McVeigh still runs around like a chook with no head. Bevan up for debate. Going to be some interesting reading on red and white this week.
Positives today Kirk and Goodes were great, we lost by 3 goals and we saw that a few more players need to be moved on.

We could be regretting that this time next week you know

I also thought Goodes, again, was only good in patches and at times was absolutely terrible.

We lack any confidence when entering our forward 50. Our delivery is terrible, our decision making is worse. We should have been more unpredictable today without Hall and should have had at least 3 main targets - MOL, O'Keefe and Davis and yet failed to find any of them on the lead anywhere near goal! Our forward structure is just all over the place.

i didnt ever expect we would win this game. I also expect us to lose the eagles match, but then hope we can win the rest, which we can if we play like the 2nd half today. But its the last chance. Why dont they take the risks early?? we are 6-7 time to say nothing to lose and go for it. We showed we are capable of some good footy.
Theres not much left to say

Ablett has to go at the end of the year. Need to trade him for someone with an attacking mind.

Did you not see the kicks under no pressure that went straight to mooney and ling??? As I said, showed resonable form today but still has moments of 'brain explosions'

Out of 30 + possessions some are going to be shockers in those conditions.

Plenty more players to pick on.
