Pretty awful decision... I assumed it was for Hall lipping on again but if it was for that, and I do remember it happening exactly as described, then that's a pretty average call by the umpire.

It seems pedantic, but that's the rule.

They were consistent with paying marks. Eddie Betts one at the end of the first qrtr was only just a mark as well.

Some of the holding the ball decisions were a joke!

A lot of them are, because some of them are payed based on umps' best guess not what actually happened.

Thought Goulburn Street was free with that coupon? If I am not going to drink, I park at GS, then walk up instead of the bus.
It usually is, that's why I got peeved off yesterday. They had shut up shop and moved everything to the automated machines that we couldn't use the free coupon.

Carlton are only the 2nd team out of the other 15 to kick 100 points against us.
The other team was the Roos.(111)

How good were some of the little palm downs to Davo in the F50 from ball ups. De ja vu.

I actually though the umpiring was pretty good... And not just because we won either...

They were consistant all day and that's all you can ask for. Yeah there was a few HTB decisions that were pretty soft, but they paid them like that all day. They paid Betts that mark, then paid a fairly similar one to Spida later on. Can't ask for more than that!!

As for the 50m against Kirk for giving it to the "wrong" opponent. Again soft, but if it's in the rules, it's in the rules....

Carlton have been involved in many high scoring games this year so there is no shame in this. It doesn't matter if the opposition score 20 points against us or 120. As long as we score more than they do, we still win the game.

I thought that was harsh, Kirk looked around to see who to give the ball to to, the closest Blue asked for it and Kirky handed it over. Kirk thought he was doing the right thing in giving the ball straight back to the opposition. I s'pose he should have asked the umpire.

Excluding one outlier, for nine of Carlton's losses, the average result is 141-98.
