I wonder if that's because our record at Telstra in the past 2 years was:

    2005 (3 wins - 0 losses) and 2006 (3-1).

Totally destroys your argument don't you think?
In light of the forthcoming vital St Kilda game I worry about our 2007 form at Homebush Bay. If you include the Port Adelaide practice game in March, it stands at zero and three; a very poor homeground record for any team aspiring for finals football. In each of those three games (against Port, the Eagles, and the Pies) we got to really terrible starts, and proceeded in the second half to play catch-up football. .

      1) I think we can discount any practice games when looking at ground form.
      2) West Coast/Collingwood, both teams that played extremely well, possibly above themselves, given the injuries/outs. But games we were going to have to play extremely well for 4 qtrs to win. We have been slow out of the blocks for most of the season and our form in the first half of the season has not been desirable.
      3) 2 games doesn't give much indication of form.

Also, we should factor in that most of our Telstra games have been fixtured against teams who have done well the year before. That is, we can reasonably expect to have a tougher than average game at Telstra due to playing a top8 side from the previous year (apart from the permanent round 13 Collingwood clash).
