why we will win

the game vs hawthorn was the perfect tonic coming into the finals. we were getting the ball into 50 quickly and the half back line and mid fielders were swift.

we haven't seen the best of big bad barry and t'row night in front of 70,000+ could bring the bustling out to play.

surely after 2 disappointing and quite convincing losses we have realised where we go wrong and can get the ball direct into the forwards and not rely heavily on BBBBH?

The pies young guns are one of the most improved in the comp and they are fast and fearless and have the wood on us for the last 3 games very convincingly..they have jumped out to unassailable leads before we come back to make the score look flattering

Their forward line has a mix of talls and smalls eg, rocca, fraser, cloke, didak and davis who can all be a handful and with LRT and leo back with 1 game under their belt it's going to be very tough to keep them restricted

Wakelin has had the wood on hall and he hasn't been able to mark the ball well enough at all on the lead and has been hopeless in the 1-1 duels.

Can we have the run in our legs aftr 22 rounds of our tough contested defensive footy?

finally, without kennelly we have won only 2/9 this year and that is the most telling stat of all.

my verdict: Pies by at least 2 goals in a tight one
