First and only final for 2007.
Elimination Final v Collingwood
A sense of Deja vu. The Pies came to play for the 2nd time in 3 weeks. Again Rocca, Cloke and Rusling caused major headaches in our back line, While the delivery by our midfield to the forwards was ordinary. After being slaughtered all over the ground in the 1st quarter, the swans dug deep and through some hard toil, the deficit was reduced to 10 points at halftime. Rocca went off the ground just before half time with what looked like a serious Knee inury, only to return and become a troublesome forward again. The Pies in the 2nd half made the swans look slow and tired, The result never really in any doubt. This brought the swans season to an earlier than usual end, after the past 2 seasons.
Goodes, again, was the outstanding player on the ground. He worked tirelessly across the HB line and thrusting into attack.

3rd TLM, and the first to go back to back.
Leading Swans Brownlow Medal vote getter.
Craig Bolton another stellar year and for the 2nd time is pipped by 1 vote.
A worthy runner up, again.
Big improver: Nick Malceski, after only 2 votes last year, rose to 3rd place this year.
Special mention: Spida Everitt, proved himself a worthy trade by coming 6th in his first year with the Swans.
Looking Forward to 2008: Ed Barlow, 5 votes from only 4 games, including 1 vote in the Final. Will he be the big improver next year?
