Spot on. We've got enough tall backs. A smaller one taking on the quicker small fwds is of more benefit to us than another bean pole down there.

Can you explain this one Benny? I don't get the "role" part - what do you envisage Fosdike doing off the bench?

I think he has the potential to be a fantastic CHB (a la Roos). I think we'd get more value of him like that than as another Goodes. However, if he is CHB, then where would LRT go?

No Moore, even in the emergencies??

I expected most of you to leave Bevan right out as well, most of you have NFI.

Why, we haven't even started trade week, let alone finished it ? Less pertinent is the draft, but a ready made player may be picked up there as well. Need I mention the pre-season draft ? Pointless exercise, no idea who we have to select from.

If I had to name a team now, you can betcha neither Moore nor Bevan would be left out of the 29 players NMW picked in his side.

Interesting nobody else feels Moore should be in NMW's '29', or are you all so keen to stick the knife into Bevan you managed to overlook that ommision.

As far as I am concerned Moore may be a big fish in a little pond (Canberra leauge's best player) but on the occassions he was put into the big pond (more than 4) he was nothing but a little fish and unable to set the world on fire. Just my opinion - feel free to ignore it at will.

He played 25 minutes against the Kangas in round 6. I don't think anyone could set the world on fire in that amount of time.

Sorry I meant in 2005/2006 also. He's now had three seasons to set the world on fire. Can anybody honestly say here that Jared Moore looked as comfortable on the field as Ed Barlow did in his three matches? (ok so 2 good games out of three is still better that Jared Moore).
