Well when you look at the @@@@ that is still on our list there are other players that should have gone before these two. And to say Mattner and Playfair will give us an added bit of pace and skill is rubbish - we have, yet again, been sold down the river.

Why dont you just kill this team and leave them for dead Roosy - I mean your coaching contract expires in what, 2 years, and then its not your problem any more.

Whats going to happen when all of a sudden we have a mass exodus of senior players cause their all about the same age?? How short sighted this is.
And the man who started it, the Schneiderman, can kick his third for the quarter. And the swans are in the Grand Final!

then it's a stupid point. trading is not just about superstars and recruitment coups but about setting out realistic goals and doing what can be done to fulfill them. yes, i'm disappointed jude didn't get traded and i think (perhaps in other circumstances only) a better bargain could have been driven with schneider and dempster but it appears that this year most of what could be done was done.

If they really are @@@@, then who was going to take them?

Mattner is pretty quick. Playfair frees up Malceski or Kennelly.

Your point makes no sense - it has nothing to do with Schneider or Dempster.

How does Playfair free up Kennelly or Malceski? He is too slow to play in the back line to free up either of them.

It is not about giving away the future of your club for nothing in return. But then again we are used to that.

Playfair takes a key defender spot, allows Barry or C Bolton to move to a half back position, hence freeing up Malceski or Kennelly. Mattner will either go to half back to free up the other one or take the other wing himself.

Have you seen Playfair play. He is good mates with LRT.

He is a hack. Give it two years he will be delisted like all the other @@@@ we recruit from Geelong. Look at Spriggs and Chambers?

Why???? That's what the 2 were recruited for, exactly the things that Bloods is saying.
