Reports have come in that he has done a ACL. Scans will take place sometime tomorrow im guessing so hopefully by then we will find out what the full story is but im guessing his 2008 is over even when it hadn't even started

    Malceski out for season

Sadly it does seem he has done his ACL.

Who steps up now and what are your thoughts on how it will affect our defence this year.
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.

You don't think that may be a bit premature?

Even though it isn't confirmed yet, Eski would be feeling like @@@@ atm.

Sadly, the docs seem to know pretty much straightaway when someone's done their ACL. It looked so innocuous too.

Just saw it on TV. His body language when he went down said it all.

I remember the commentators saying last year when Kennelly went down that because he was in a lot of pain it generally means it isn't the the bad knee injury. When I saw that Malceski didn't seem to be in a lot of pain I thought the worst . Poor guy.

Mattner will need to step up now and replace his run.

That's Footy I guess. It will give another player a chance to step up.

That really sucks. I feel awful for Malceski doing his knee twice in such a young career, he had so much promise too.

It probably is an ACL - saw him go down on the news, sadly it looked pretty similar to other players who have done ACLs before...it always looks innocuous...still we live in slight hope until the scans are done.
