    Bugger eh?

Well, that's footy. We'll see what our depth is like. Looks like it might be back to plan Z (the plan before plan A, which was to move Kennelly or Malceski to the wing after slotting Mattner in at HBF).

We can cover Malceski, but it gets awfully tight now for depth... Plus it means that some of his teammates are really going to have to step up in the "kicking it long and direct accurately" department so we don't miss out there!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Does anyone know if it is the same knee as last time?

For some strange reason I thought of Nick Malceski's Mum who I chatted to at the last Club Champ. She so proud of him I bet she was gutted.

It is uncanny how it's top players who get the bad injuries. Probably because they are the ones who do the hard stuff and hard running and are gifted with dodging skills etc.

I agree with you on this one, but sometimes it is just rotten luck.

Yes - it was highly disappointing. When he went down I thought straight away it looked like one of those innocuous ones that becomes a season-ending injury. As Homer would say in Tron-land, Crap crap crap crap crap...

And I thought our good run with injuries had nothing to do with luck...
