I think its time that we all stopped taking our angry pills and move on - Baz got 7 weeks which is fine - the Geelong kiddie who decked Xavier Clarke got nothing - lets lets it go and concentrate on the next round.

I hope that we will be welcoming back Nick Davis to the seniors.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

On that point, I agree with him.
This point has been made by a few people and it makes sense. I thought the early guilty play was only meant to apply at the MRP level to save it going to tribunal. I guess one argument in favour of Hall in this case is that he 'pleaded guilty' before the MRP had passed it to the tribunal.

In most courts of law defendants who plead guilty are entitled to a sentence reduction so I don't see why the AFL Tribunal should be any different.

The worst thing about Barry Hall's suspension.

IMO the worst part of this is that he did it in 2008 when he was playing well.

Why couldn't it have been last year when his form was crap?

Agree mate and the fact the team as a whole is playing so well.

Will be very interesting to see how the team responds on the weekend against the benchmark of the competition.

Yep, and while it wouldn't have been any less indefensible, it might have been somewhat more understandable that he'd worked himself up into such a state of frustration.

There was more than 1 occassion last year when I thought it was going to happen.

if it was last year it would have been worse as he was a co-captain then. At least this year he is only in the leadership group

The worst thing is Davo will probably get back in the seniors.

I think there may be more to it than a simple "brain explosion" or his frustration towards continuous bad umpiring against him. Perhaps it was frustrations flowing from his personal life?
