I was thinking the same thing.

Can't believe so many don't like him! Hope he gets back in this week, and sticks it up a few.

Its called the weight of public opinion. Hopefully Kid Terrific will have one of those crazy inexplicable brain snaps and chase down a cats defender and actually LAY A TACKLE!

More chance of that than Bevan doing something skillful or intelligent I guess.

If Kid Terrific is picked for this game (big if it is too) it could expose him like no other. The Cats have an extremely fast and devastating rebounding back line. Any bludgers on our forward line will be a huge liability. Our midfield will struggle just to hold the cats strong midfield, so there will be no silver service for the forwards. Can he play four quarters of hard contested footy? As a senior player will he lead by example and put the noggin over the footy and do the unspectacular hard small things? Or will he arse around and try to snag a few stats and the big goal? My moneys on the latter.

Only when he's played up forward, he's been his usual indecisive self when in defense.

He has been generally improved this season, but I thought he was quite poor on Saturday night and close to our worst.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I thought Bevan was our worse on Saturday night.
If "Kid Terrific" arses around and snags the big goal five or six times and it results in a win for us, then I reckon that will be a pretty good result.

Generally yes, but he's closer to Chambers than he is to Maxfield.

If he kicks a number of goals then that will take a player away from rebounding as they will need to be more individually accountable.

Connelly, maybe you should watch the final quarter of the 2005 GF again and count the number of 'one percenters' performed by Davis. Then come back on RWO and tell us if you still think he is still soft.

Hammo, his last quarter was great and it's been mentioned here plenty of times.

However, that is part of the problem. Guys like Kirk, just about all of them actually, play every week with the intensity of a GF. Davis showed he can play like that in big games, but doesn't appear to be bothered chasing and doing the 1%'s week in, week out.

That's why he is spending some times in the 2's.

Have a look at the replay against St.Kilda. There was absolutely nothing wrong with his workrate. I'm sure something else happened, because his form didn't warrant being dropped.
