Yeah, that's a fair point. Although Roos probably knows that dragging Hall wouldn't have had the desired result. It probably would have pissed him off even more and he'd end up nutting someone else.

Hall seemed to spend a fair bit of time on the bench in the third or fourth qtr - probably a chance to practice without him.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Maybe Roos didn't drag him because he didn't trust himself not to explode at him. Maybe he'd rather he was on the ground, far away from Roos on the bench.

Does anyone truly believe that Roos didn't see it? Hall should have been dragged and given an absolute bollocking.

How Roos can claim to see Davo not chasing opponents behind play yet miss the biggest left hook since the Rumble in the Jungle is simply fanciful.

At least it is consistent with Roos's reign, players aren't dragged for a mistake. Brain explosions on the other hand may be different.

I didn't see the punch live, only on the big screen. Roos said he didn't see the replay. With everything gong on on the sideline this is not beyond the realms of possibility.

                Roos = spineless.

If you want to criticise someone, you can always find a way champ. Roosy is just trying to get a win, and maybe he didn't bench Bazza because he figured that the best way to stay on top of the Weagles was to leave him on.

As it turns out the boys played as well after he tapped Staker as before, so in the context of wanting to win a game of footy, dragging Bazza is hardly justified.

In these circumstances, describing the coach as spineless is unjustified, and bit sad really.

Bollocks. If you pull one player for being undisciplined you pull them all, and that was the most undisciplined thing by a Swan in a long time. Perfectly valid to accuse him of being spineless in this case.

I have no idea why he wasn't pulled either, it was driving me mad all game. I did catch the Channel 10 post game show and they showed some half time footage from the Swans locker room, an extremely animated and angry looking Roos was right in Hall's face and appeared to be giving him a serve.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

It was a low act and he should have known better being an ex captain. When it happened i thought he better kick 10 because he won't be playing for 10 weeks!! In hindsight it would have been better if he was dragged and benched for the night - for the good of the game

I suspect that, like a lot of us, Roos was in shock and disbelief about what he saw (look past the coachspeak, there's no doubt he was aware of it, if not seen it). Those who saw the TV coverage would have seen Roos right in Halls face at half time on the in rooms camera (be interesting to see if the Swans allow that to happen again) and Hall looking very sheepish indeed.

As others have said once reality settled him he saw a very high (for him) amount of bench time in the second half.

Actually they really struggled for a while after Hall's act.

The crowd struggled too. After the replay was shown the whole stadium went limp, until Goodes' 5 minute burst early in the second.

I agree ROK he should of been dragged no doubt, though saying Roosy is Spineless is utter rubbish in my opinion.
Did you see Roosy at 1/2 time with Barry ?
He wasnt wasting space on the ground , we still had to win the game and Hall takes there best defender in Glass so he isnt wasting space at all.
We have seen how Roosy and the leadership group deals with incidents during the week, ask Nick Davis why he hasnt been playing.
