In quick summary from listening to it over the radio;
Roos spoke briefly then left it to Hall
he sounded to me like he thought it was a storm in a teacup
he admitted to punching him.
he tried to contact Staker and left a message for him
he said it was the wrong thing to do
he said that you can put in a lot of effort to win people's trust, but then one "little thing" and it is gone (or words to that affect, but he did suggest this was a minor indiscretion)
he didn't sound particuarly contrite
he speculated at 4 weeks for the wrist
there was a question about getting a serve from Roos at half time, to which Roos jumped in and reiterated his story of "I didn't see it until I got home, I was asking him about his hammy"
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
I really wish they wouldn't talk about the wrist all and really downplay it, I am scared the Tribunal will take that into account and extend say a 6 week suspension into a 8 week one.

Why would they? He broke the wrist in a different incident?

huh?
I mean if they think they are suspending him for a time that he is going to be out injured anyway they may consider being harder on him in sentencing him. Natural human reaction if they feel strongly enough about the incident.

Does this really make sense?
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."
Roos said in the interview on MMM linked elsewhere that Hall had injured his hamstring earlier in the night and apparently his rather animated appearing conversation in the sheds at half time was to ask him if he was still okay to play. Roos jumping in to answer it (the question was directed at Hall) almost seemed a little "awwww crap, I knew I didn't prep the witness for something!"

As I said, does any of that make sense - Roos would be so animated about a hamstring, Hall would look so upset about Roos questioning on a hamstring, Roos would not know about the report, Roos would not mention the report, Roos would bench Hall for periods in the second half without mentioning anything at half time. All seems strange.

They wouldn't be harsher on him, if he is injured.
