God, we should have won this game.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

again we didn't play 4 qtrs, played a good 1st and last this time, where as last week it was 2nd and 3rd..
now we just need to combine them.

Umpiring was a joke today, decisions not paid, and how many 50's unbelievable.

Our main problem was not enough entries into 50 in the 2nd and 3rd and very un swans like entry into 50 today.

We always play awesome footy when our backs are to the wall, dont know why we cant do that from in front we have showed qtr's this year that shows we can be a genuine threat..

Whether the players (older) are feeling the pressure form the yng. Our guys just need to bak ourselves we have on 3 times year destroyed our opponents, we should have again today..

Lacking pace, and some decision making needs to improve.

I do think Bird needs a game in the reserves to build some game winning style, at the moment he just receives and gives, doesn't seem to back himself at the moment

How many times can Moore miss a winning goal - three times this year!

i agree, but dont mean he needs to go back as punishment, more to develop his confidence to make him a game breaker, which he has definitely the potential.

Was thinking the same thing about Davis - confidence is a fickle thing when you're a small forward. May be worth throwing him onto the ball and moving O'Keefe to FF. As you said with McVeigh, the Swans have persevered with out-of-form players before, so there's no reason why they shouldn't at least give him a chance to regain some form. Not sure how long he's got though.

That said, Bevo was actually better than Davo today!!

Sure was. I don't know how he's supposed to defend - it seems his every tactic is criticised.

I thought Thompson clearly beat Barry in the first half.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

There is a lot to be happy about re the draw. I had this game pencilled in for a loss given North have always troubled us and we play crap at the Dome so I am happy to come away with 2 points. Yes we were messy and untidy but the side has a lot of positives. Imagine when Melcho, Baz and Fosdike are back.
I must say we are missing Everitt less than I thought. Jolly is going really well and I thought White did ok. It looked pretty tough out there. Be interested to see what those at the game thought?
Bevo gets the gong today - an outstanding game on Grant who never managed to get into the game.

There were plenty that were below average. Always hard to pick up on TV but the number of times we were 2 on 2 or 3 on 3 coming inside F50 only for the midfielder to simply not be able to spot up a decent forward lead. Then it rebounds to a leading Thompson or Jones well inside 50. O'Louglin and Davis atrocious, O'Keefe gets a pass mark. Why do they play so far up the bloody ground. You're a forward, play from the bloody goal square and lead up the ground.

I thought I midfield wasn't that bad today.

in a low scoring half esepcially he got away from him there for a bit. I wanted him moved at half time but 2nd half was better.

If north had of kept the delivery up leo may of struggled
