As long as two of the players were LRT and Bevo we'll be right.

How does that happen? with Roos sitting on the sidelines he can't use his favorite excuse of not seeing it. I swear he must be asleep half the time!

In an echo of times past, he said he didn't see Davo near goals and sent on a replacement.

Yep, Sydney are cheats. We deliberately had 19 men on the field, even though we risked losing the game because of it.

Amazing how it's fine if a Kirk goal isn't paid, but when they hear about this we're suddenly cheats.

The problem is that Jolly, who was supposed to be off while White came on, was part of the chain that led to Kirk's "goal".
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

If Jolly didn't do it, then someone else may have. No chance of proving it either way.

I guess the Kangaroos missed it when it mattered, oh well

I can't believe the Emergency Ump and interchange stewards do not have the power to do anything about this...stupid. What is the purpose of having them there? They obviously knew about it as well as they reported it at the end of the game.

This sort of amateur hour is threatening on a numerous occasions. i was sitting pretty close to the interchange bench and we simply have so many people going to the bench that on a number of occasions players were just standing next to the line waiting for someone to be available to come back on. the absence of a steward to be signing on and off is obvious because they are spending their time walking the other players backwards and forwards around the lines.

This is the sort of thing that local clubs don't stuff up. how does a fully professional organisation manage this.

LOL. First we get accused of match-fixing, then tunnelling; Hall knocks out Staker, and now this. Just take away all our points now, we are obviously a bunch of cheats.

It does sound like a pretty amateurish mistake to make, though it was probably one that was waiting to happen given the ridiculous number of interchanges we make.

It's worth noting the grown-up response from Dean Laidley and club CEO -- these things happen, it wasn't deliberate, we'll let the AFL do its thing.

Just as Roos rightly didn't make a case out of the Kirk goal/point.

Isn't the whole point of the players giving each other a five a crude way of preventing this from happening?
