    $15K ... is that all??
Quick whip around on Sunday should pay that fine.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

Just on the final moments of that game, how could Kirk not make the distance from 20 metres out?

Barlow was the same, a little earlier in the last qtr, from about 35m. Too many players (particularly ours) kick around the corner rather than straight through the ball.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

If there is no recourse for the AFL due to outdated rules, then so be it.
They should change the rules - there has certainly been recent occasions that should have brought this issue to head.

As for Jolly, the Swans are saying that he was taken of as he was the closest player when they realised.
Maybe he wasn't the player who was supposed to come off.
I think we should all be looking at what White 'did' rather than what Jolly 'did'
White was the extra man who wandered on when there were already 18 players on the field.
And he didn't impact on the game.
          Footy Classified beat up.
Just on that I must admit I did make the comment on Sunday why was White on for the ruck contests at the end of the game when it would make sense that Jolly should have been as the experienced ruck man.

White seemed to go on early but Jolly is the 19th man officially, and I understand that this what the record says.
So why did the interchange official allow White to go on? That's his/her job isn't it?

There is at least one Rugby League (Sydney Competition) precedence. Back in 1975 in Round 15, Western Suburbs had a 7 all draw with Canterbury. One interchange Wests player was found to be wrongly on the field, leaving 14 men against 13. The result was that Wests was stripped of its' one point for the draw, This had a later impact on the finals, where Wests were forced to play a playoff for a finals spot, lost the playoff, and consequently missed out of playing finals football.

Moore at least made the distance, but missed. Barlow's was marked about 3 metres in.

That was where we needed tricky dicky.

                            RWO heresy!

It's like the Nicene creed - Roos is the one true messiah, criticism not allowed, (nor his apostles Goodes, MOL or JBolt), but Davis is Arian!

Pressure on the kicker and fatigue? You may have noticed that Campbell also failed to make the distance from about 25 metres in the last quarter. Both teams had played themselves to a virtual stanstill.
