Teddy passed it backwards into their forward 50, Mattner couldn't mark it, Eagles could have marked it. I almost ran all the way across to Perth to kill Teddy.

In the half-second before the ball reached Mattner and Wirrpanda, I would have actually put my money on the Weagles winning the game. Wirrpanda was one of the few Weagles who kept his head when they started getting the wobbles. Going into the contest, W had all the momentum, he didn't give away a free kick, and while he was never going to mark, he got there in plenty of time to spoil. So my money was on him tapping the spoil to advantage, picking it up, burning off Mattner who was standing there flat-footed, and strolling into goal.

Gee, it's great to be wrong.

Well Sydney did get a free to win the game (which was clearly there).
Obviously they chose to overlook the shafting Sydney got earlier.

No. But Ted is one of the few I'm prepared to forgive for nearly giving it away (only because Marty got him out of the hole). Ted was pretty darn good all night, especially in the first half when the rest of the team was crap.

Harsh on Noggy, sure he needed to lift during the game but I thought his last 5-10 minutes were great. He went after the ball, broke tackles and generally helped us move forward.

I've got to catch a plane tomorrow but I am so hyped up I won't be able to get to sleep...so I'll panic about not being ableto wake up in time and that will stop me getting to sleep...etc..etc.. Bloody Swans are the root of all evil.
