bringing round one up to criticise davis is stupid, michael jordan missed a shot to win v the jazz in the best of 7 championships and they didnt drop him.
i thought his game was good this night prolly what youd expect from him as a pass mark 14 possies 2 tackles a few shots on goal
it was wierd he got dropped yet someone with 5 possessions who basically had a free admission into the dome stayed in.
and im trying not to pick on bevan but u end up associating him with connolly so sorry to bevan if he ever reads this

You're inventing reasons to fit the outcome and stating them as fact, when the only fact is he is playing in the reserves. He was dropped after the StKilda game but was not dropped until after the 'Roos game, which was after the Geelong game. So your 'factual statement' seems to be wrong again.
He was dropped because he played an oustanding game??? He wasn't dropped immediately after the Geelong game but after another desultory performance against the Kangas. That game was memorable because a young kid who has a real go took Grant apart and did play an outstanding game.
Bevo or Davo ummm its a hard question but on pure gut busting effort and a heart as big as a lion and never giving in i'll take Bevo for sure.
On pure sublime kicking skill i'll take Davo, and IMO thats all Davo has.
You can win a game off your own boot sure, but you can also win a game off your own back by chasing, tackling and all those other 1%'s we all talk about.
ATM i would take Bevo over Davo, but if Davo could do all those 1%'s like Bevo does then i would take Davo, but IMO he will never do them because he is too lazy.
Then again if Bevo could kick like Davo then i would take Bevo just on his ability to tow the team line.

Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

Don't worry about the logic just glad you dropped in.
You need help mate! Davis can be lazy at times, but he is far more skillfull than Bevan ever will be. Davis was good in 03 and 05 and 02 for Collingwood before losing his way, so how is that for only for one night?

It was an epigram! An admittedly fairly lame remark to highlight that Davo peaked in 05. And has been pretty much dining out on that wonderful performance ever since.

You're getting yourself very confused with your tangled web of myth.
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
"[T]here are things that matter more and he's reading and thinking about them: heaven, reincarnation. Life and death are the only things that are truly a matter of life and death. Not football."

What are you complaining about? That peakness has brought us a premiership, which Paul Bevan has never been able to do.
When has Paul Bevan peaked? Has he ever peaked at all? Will he ever peak?

Shannon Grant got all of two kicks well into the last quarter. His opponent Bevo was named amongst our best. The greatest forward since John Coleman went to the reserves. Now which part of this is made up?
