What part of "we are disappointed that Nick Davis is gone" don't you understand?

Also, if Collingwood didn't want him, why was he offered a new contract during the 2002 season?
What part of "We only want good people at this club" don't you understand? The problem with Davis is not that he can't kick a ball. Its character. He basically doesn't give a rats about the teams or clubs he plays for.

Roosey is not going to let Thompson do what he did at St George - provoke an internal slanging match over a player who is going to be cut next season and divert the club from its objective of winning a flag.
Hmm Mick Malthouse is well known for his petulance if things dont suit him - so I take what he says with a grain of salt. His hizzy fits are legendary. We get the message Connolly that you are not a fan of Davis - so be it, so I think the time has come that this matter be put to rest - let Nick get on with what ever it is he has to do to win favour again (which I have acknowledged previously that its only he who can do it) and hopefully he will in the seniors again.

Merely sour grapes from Malthouse after losing a talented player to another club.

It would be extremely interesting to hear Malthouse in full on the subject of Davis. The fact is Davis walked out on the club twice. He is possibly the only player in history to walk out on Collingwood twice. It is a proud club with a tough tradition and ethos. He failed Collingwood. Ask their supporters on Saturday night. Preferably before the start of the match and before they become incoherent.

There is an old shearer's saying that is interesting. "Don't cuddle mugs, they die in your arms." Rather support and watch the kids that have a go - Jack, Bird, Moore, White, Brabazon and you know who. Davis will be cut and let him ply his trade elsewhere. And good luck to him.

I will support the kids and Davis - I even cut your love child Bevan some slack when he actually does something right, as for Mick Maltedmilkshake- having had the misfortune of living next door to the man many many moons ago - he hasnt changed a jot - he's still a petulant spoilt cranky man.

i cant believe some of the comments magic makes, seems he ahtes davis and feels angry he is at the same club.

"hopefully he'll stay around" whats that mean? only hopefully, if you like someone and want them you dont just hope they stay.

"Once he gets going he is so exciting" so he doesnt play well often is what magic thinks.

"He creates opportunities for other forwards as well as himself" sarcastic here from micky o you just sense the hate there.

"there are obviously things he needs to address and I think he's doing that" he doesnt even know what davis is up to.

this shows davis is a swine and magic hates him, lets delist him now

Maybe there really is a problem and MickyO is just being diplomatic?

On that assertion Chris Judd is not an elite footballer. He changed clubs, just like Davo did. Neither is Barry Hall, Craig Bolton, Marty Mattner etc etc, your argument is seriously flawed.
