Yep, I am heading down as well. Madness.

Damn right. I took the train and didnt get home til 12.10am (thanks also to the Woy Woy Road closure).

Another loss in front of a big crowd at Homebush. I can't remember the last time I was so angry with them. Sure, the Swans played some crap footy in the early 90's but that team wasnt sitting in 4th place with pretensions of a premiership. 2 goals to 3/4 time is inexusable.

Time for a sleeping pill or three!

I had to leave my seat at half time because I was so irritated by our performance, I though I might nut the obnoxious twerp masquerading as a human behind me who just happened to have a Pies scarf on.

Worst performance Ive ever seen us play (Granted Ive only been going to games for about 6 years and overall only been to say 20-25 odd matches). I was there for the Pies debacle last year and the year before, but tonight was much worse then both. I only left a few minutes early to beat the traffic, but I was very tempted to leave at 3/4 time, especially with having to put up with the bleatings of a bunch of collingwood twerps behind me.

Can't agree with you more. And to think several months ago I paid for a flight to Melbourne for the return match in Round 21. Talk about living in hope.

Tell me again that we need to sacrifice quality players and a huge chunk of our salary cap for a 27-year-old forward?

We desperately need another key defender (how many marks did they take inside forward 50?) and a player with some spark and penetration in the mould of Maxfield/Williams/Kappler.

                    BFW.

Geelong lost by how many to the Pies? Some posters have come out of the wood work after a silent 6 weeks or so.

We should still beat the hawks next week. As a side note, Baz is clear evidence there is no "no dickheads rule". We should have traded him last year when he had some currency.

How on earth can we beat the Hawks, who have two quality tall fowards and a solid side on the rest of the ground, when we can't handle Collingwood's marking forwards?

Because the Hawks don't play a close checking, one-on-one style all across the ground which is exactly what we struggle with.

                        I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

From where We sat - it looked that both Kennelly & Eski just couldnt run - with the Irishman running around in circles a few times (what was that all about?) - we looked unfit I still think that they have been brought back too early from injury - and Eski had an op last week - what are the coaching staff trying to prove??? As for the rest of the team they lloked lethargic- that they had all spent far too much time at the buffet whilst on holidays or had all had fights with their partners during the break. They were playing like love sick school girls!. As for Bevan LRT & Leo - words fail me.
Granted the umps did some off things - but at the end of the day we were @@@@! Longmire is sitting up there in the coaches box looking thick as usual, Roos is on the boundary doing nothing - to our coaching staff ITS TIME TO GET MAD - GET OFF THE MEDITATION CIRCLE CARPET AND GET MAD!!!!! Kirk Richards & Mattner put in (thank god!) the rest just looked buggered even before the game started. The icing on the stale cake - the feral Collingwood supporter sitting in front of us kept turning around telling us to go home because it was "his stadium" mind you he was standing ther resplendent in jeans with the crutch at his knees, an old flanny shirt and looked like he headnt had a shower for weeks (Tammy kept saying that he should be seeing his parole office and not be allowed in public places! ) - he nearly copped my full water bottle in the head. As for the MMM commentary - Love Luffy and Mike Mclean - Brad Seymour (average player at best) @@@@s me to tears! So Brad I hope you do a better job at being MC at the trvia night. But at least Nick Davis couldnt be blamed!!!!!!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................
Chickens drink - but they don't pee!
AGE IS ONLY IMPORTANT FOR TWO THINGS - WINE & CHEESE!

No you aren't. Bevo went onto Daisy after Mattner had been beaten in the first quarter. Thomas used Bevo as a step ladder once but after that Bevo was pretty much on Medhurst. Bevo hasd two goals kicked on him last night which is a rare event. He went better than some, particularly Buchanon who must be in line for the drop when Fossie is fit.

I've been very patient so far Connolly and have managed (so far) not to join the rest of "them" and bag you about your choice of love child.

Pal ... firstly, you've got to take off your Bevo tinted glasses. He played @@@@ last night. Just like the rest of them.

The only people (IMHO) who can hold their heads up are Kirky and Mattner, and maybe Richards. The rest of them played like crap ... Bevo included.

As for you guys who want to cancel your trips to Melbourne next week ... bah!! Big deal if we lose another game (I'm going to Melbourne to shop - the footy is just convenient!!) - play like they played last night and it's a given.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Droping Bevo for Barlow certainly would be a bold move. Thought Bevo quarterbacked well (thats taking the first kick out between full-back and half-back, and is not to be confused with another game in another place, hence quarterback), held Thomas when he was on him and never gave up. Now how does that merit dropping a young defender when we were largely smashed in the midfield.?
