OK lets argue ad absurdum. Eagles are formed and played their first game in 1987. Young Nick who is a telented precocious but extremely perceptive seven year old and whose Dad played for one of the proudest clubs in the comp and in a relocated Swans, tells Dad as a seven year old "Daddy I'm deserting the Magpies and won't be supporting the Swans as the new corporate creation on the other side of the big brown land looks the goods in terms of professionalism, market share and Ron Alexander can coach the pants off Tommy Hafey. Sorry Dad but business is business
No more Davis threads - out for season

Interesting that the people who object to negative comments about players, such as the complaints against Nico and his 'anonymous venting' about Bolton, saying nothing or even support Connolly's vicious attacks on a player, which have certainly been far more virulent and frequent than anything Nico (or anyone else) has done. Such hypocrisy.Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

Either way, you do need to just stop sometimes connolly. You're worse than that Nico guy.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

I'll repeat what I asked earlier. How many players play for the team they barracked for as a kid? You find the answer to that and it will tell you how stupid the comment was.
As for "sticking it" to people, I have picked up on this particular posters attempts, even when they are without merit, to stick it to Davis. I have commented on very few of these considering the copious amount of them that he manages to produce.
In this case, he has quoted as fact something that Davis hasn't said. IIRC it was his manager (not a very good one) who's comments Roos was commenting on. He continually posts comments or third hand info as fact, but only when it suits his case against Davis.
In another thread, Nico was criticised for continually having a go at Jude Bolton, connolly's hatred for Davis makes Nico look like an amateur.Comment

If that's what he says I presume its true. What does it matter?
Adam Goodes could have followed Collingwood for all I know, and Nick Malceski the Blues. By your argument that means they're also not committed to the Swans."As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk
